Your privacy at Hairbyquinzy

We only collect information you provide or that is necessary to fulfil your order.

• Account & contact details: name, email address, phone number.
• Shipping information: delivery address and any instructions you leave at checkout.
• Order history: items purchased, order totals, fulfilment status.
• Custom wig requests: hair specifications, preferences, budget, and any inspiration images you upload.
• Payment information: processed directly by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
• Technical data: basic device and browser information plus essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and remember your cart.

• To prepare accurate quotes for custom wig requests.
• To send order confirmations, shipping updates and quote responses.
• To respond to your enquiries and provide customer support.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations in Canada.
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.

Payments are securely processed by Stripe, Inc. Your card details are entered on Stripe's secure form and transmitted directly to Stripe — Hairbyquinzy never sees or stores your full card number. At checkout you are charged the listed product price plus shipping where applicable; no separate tax line is added. Hairbyquinzy receives only the order total, a payment reference and (where required) the billing address. Stripe's handling of your information is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.

Images uploaded with a custom wig request are stored in a private bucket and are visible only to Hairbyquinzy staff working on your quote. We use them solely to understand the look you want. You can request their deletion at any time by emailing us.

We use a small number of essential cookies (and equivalent browser storage) to keep you signed in, remember your cart, and secure the checkout. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We share personal information only with service providers required to run the shop:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Our hosting and database provider — to run the website and store orders securely.
• Shipping carriers — to deliver your order.
• Our email provider — to send transactional order and quote emails.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

Order and tax records are retained for a minimum of six years as required by Canadian tax law. Custom request threads and uploaded images are kept for up to 24 months after the last correspondence, then deleted. Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted on request.

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act you have the right to access, correct or request deletion of your personal information, and to withdraw consent to our use of it (subject to legal obligations). To exercise any of these rights, email support@hairbyquinzy.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with a reputable cloud provider using encryption at rest. Access is limited to authorised staff. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we take industry-standard measures to protect your information.

Hairbyquinzy is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
